Diamonds, more than any other gemstone, have the capability to produce the maximum amount of brilliance. And a diamond
that is virtually free of interior or exterior inclusions (commonly called flaws) is of the highest quality, for nothing interferes
with the passage of light through the diamond. To determine a diamond's clarity, it is viewed under a 10-power magnification by a trained
eye. Minute inclusions neither mar its beauty nor endanger its durability.

Diamonds of FL, IF, VVS and VS quality are very expensive and usually only reserved for engagement rings, or very high
end diamond jewelry. Diamond jewelry consisting of smaller diamonds almost always have diamonds of SI1-I3 clarity. When you see great
deals at department stores such as "diamond earrings for $99" they are often I2-I3 "promotional quality"
diamonds. "Promotional quality" is just advertising language for "poor quality." Any diamond with a clarity
of SI3 or higher will have no visible inclusions to the naked eye, and any inclusions you see will only be visible under magnification.
I1 clarity diamonds contain flaws difficult to see to the naked eye with an untrained eye, but a jeweler can easily see the flaws without
the use of a loupe.
We do not recommend you purchase promotional quality diamonds (lower than I1) We will not sell I3 diamonds because
they are so included it will often break in the setting when pressure is applied.
