Box chains make great chains for smaller to medium size pendants. The
box chain has 2 flat sides to each link which are highly polished. This
gives the chain a nice sparkle but does not detract too much attention
from the pendant itself. The smallest gauge is 0.90mm wide, and probably
not recommended for active men and women. These are more suited to young
children or very lightweight pendants. For something with more strength
we recommend going with at least a 1.2mm box chain. For men who play
sports or for people who intend to wear them in their sleep, they may
need something a bit stronger incase it gets pulled on or snags on something
and we would recommend getting the 1.9mm or 2.5mm chain. These chains
only come in 10K or 14K yellow gold.
