All diamond jewelry items over $1000 in value are appraised at no cost. Appraisals are done by a third party independent and certified GIA gemologist. As with all our jewelry, you can request an appraisal for an additional $50 for lesser expensive merchandise.

All loose diamonds sold on our website are independently certified by either the GIA or EGL Laboratories. Depending on which company graded your diamond, you will be given a certificate of evaluation similar to the ones shown below:

Although we have GIA graduate gemologists on staff, Adde Enterprises, Inc., and it's subsidiary, DY Jewels, are in no way accredited or certified by the GIA or EGL. No diamond dealer or business entity can be certified by the GIA or EGL. Only individuals can enroll in their diamond grading courses and go on to become graduate gemologists accredited by the these labs. They then go on to open independent appraisal companies or pursue other work grading diamonds. GIA and EGL are not liable or responsible for the accuracy of these independent appraisals. Only certificates originating from the actual GIA or EGL laboratories (which are sold with all loose diamonds sold by DY Jewels as depicted above) are certified directly from the GIA or EGL institutions. Rest assured all your loose diamonds will come with a certificate directly from the GIA or EGL labs, and all finished jewelry products over $1000 in value will be accompanied by an appraisal from an independent GIA graduate gemologist.
